For anti bullying week the children have been reading supertato. The sensory table had lots of vegetables which the children turned into super veggies.

The children have created beautiful firework pictures. The children explained to the class something they were good at and something they wanted to get better at. Miss Warren typed them all up so now we can remember our new year wishes.

Our fantastic dancers should be on strictly come dancing! Our reception children know how to move!

The children have been learning about addition this week. Miss Warren has made an adding machine to use in school. Try and build one at home. You will need : a shoe box , two cups ,glue gun, scissors and a pen.

1) Cut out the bottom of your cups. 2) Using a glue gun with an adult stick them to the inside  lid of your shoe box. 3) Draw the special signs on the box. 4) Have lots of fun adding groups of things together!

On Friday we went exploring outside with our Wellington boots on! Winter is definitely coming!

The children have had so much fun making Diwali sweets.

The children made Diwali gifts to Mrs  Charnley and Mrs Lowe.

Once we had made the Diwali sweets we decided to share with the staff of Woodfield teaching them all about Diwali as well as giving them a gift.
