Today Y2 made pumpkin soup. We used the pumpkins grown in the school garden.

Today Y2 enjoyed looking for patterns in nature. We went into the Woodland Area to sketch.

Today we carried out an investigation to find the best material to make a waterproof coat. We tried tin foil, felt, paper, cling film and cotton fabric. We found out that the tin foil and the cling film are waterproof. We chose the cling film because it is stretchy plastic, soft and waterproof.

We played Tens and Ones Bingo to help our understanding of Place Value.
