On Friday the children hosted an afternoon tea party for their special someone.

They had a fantastic time after making sandwiches and cakes for 30 guests.

When Miss Warren came into the classroom this morning she was surprised to find another chick had hatched. We have named him Chip. Can you think of any more names beginning with Ch?

This morning reception had a very special delivery . 10 little eggs arrived. Two little ones had hatched by dinner we have called them Charlie and Chirpy.

On Friday all of Key Stage one went to the Lowry theatre in Manchester and watched the ballet show Cinderella. The children were amazed by the costumes and dancing. Miss Warren was so proud of all the reception children as they behaved amazingly.

Miss Warren and Mrs Keeley were shocked to open the door to lots of characters ! Everyone’s costumes were amazing and we had so much fun learning about the story we’re going on a bear hunt.

Today Mrs Porter and Mr Winterbottom officially opened our new outdoor area.
