Enjoying Forest School.

Today we carried out an investigation to find the best material to make a waterproof coat. We tried tin foil, felt, paper, cling film and cotton fabric. We found out that the tin foil and the cling film are waterproof. We chose the cling film because it is stretchy plastic, soft and waterproof.

We played Tens and Ones Bingo to help our understanding of Place Value.

Today Y2 finished making their paper windmills.

We also continued to make Worry Dolls.

Y2 enjoyed dance today.

Y2 continued to carry out their Science Investigation. 

Y2 have been reading a story called ‘Silly Billy ‘.  Billy worries about many things, so he puts some worry dolls under his pillow to take the worries away. Worry dolls originate from Guatemala.

Y2 have started to make their own worry dolls.
