Ducklings

Last week reception and Year 1’s ducklings started to hatch. We have three ducklings and they are spending the week in Year 1 classroom. We really enjoyed watching them exercise today, they seemed very happy playing in the water!

Tennis

Year 1 had a great opportunity to practise their tennis skills this afternoon with coaches from Bellingham tennis club. We played lots of different games in pairs with a racket and a ball. As you can see from the photographs we had so much fun!

Today we learned all about how archaeologists found dinosaur bones and fossils. We learned that this is how we know that dinosaurs existed. Year one used pictures of dinosaur skeletons and dry pasta to create our own dinosaur skeletons.
