This term in RE our topic has been ‘thanking God for nature’. We have talked about how different people show that they are thankful for nature. Today we used nature to make our own pictures.
This term we have been learning about materials. Today we carried out an investigation to find out which material would be the best to use to make a boat. We worked well in teams making boats using wood, paper and plastic. Which material was the best? Why?
Well done to all the children who made their own scarecrow for the scarecrow festival. They all looked amazing and the children loved having a look at them all during the mile.

The children in Reception have been very busy making fruit salads. We have been learning about Africa and we have used some fruit that grows in Africa in our fruit salad. We used our fine motor skills and talked about halves and quarters .
