One week later.

The mould grew very quickly on the slice of bread touched with unwashed hands.

In Science we are investigating what happens when we don’t wash our hands before touching food. We took 3 slices of bread and put 3 teaspoons of water on each slice. The first slice was the control. Ronnie didn’t touch the bread, he used plastic gloves. The second slice was touched with unwashed hands and he third slice with thoroughly washed hands. We put them in a plastic bag to see what will happen.

Scarlett has returned from her gymnastics competition in Malta with four gold medals. Fantastic Scarlett!

Today in Science Y2 we were  talking about the importance of washing our hands. We used theWash and Glo Germ Detector to look at the germs on our hands before and after washing them.
